On August 18 we sent out an email and posted on our website an update regarding the implementation of the settlement agreement and new MOU.
One of the things in the update was that the adjustments in pay as a result of delayed and/or denied step raises from the settlement agreement would be reflected in the August 28th paycheck, with the back pay coming later.
As you may know, the adjustments in pay were not in the August 28 paycheck. Unfortunately the county did not let us know until late on August 27 that the adjustments were still not completed.
We have since spoken with the county and been told that the adjustments in pay will now appear in the September 11th paycheck, with the back pay coming some time later. We will continue to monitor this and all aspects of the settlement agreement and new MOU and will continue to provide updates as they are implemented.
